The human body has several important organs, one of those organs are kidney. The kidney are two organs shaped as beans. The kidney size varies according to the individual age, sex, and health. They are located under the rib cage towards the back. According to the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (Kidney Disease Basics 2012), the kidney main function is to balance the amount of sodium, potassium in the body, water, disposed waste and toxins out of the body throughout the urine output, and produce grown hormones and red blood cells. The method that I decided to use for this research paper was observation. I have a 21-year-old daughter who has been battling with kidney issues for almost 2 decades. Her journey started when she was 1 ½ year, I noticed that her body started to swelling in a period of 1-2 weeks. Her face started to get swollen to the point time she could even open her eyes. I took her to the emergency room and she was diagnosed with what is called Nephrotic Syndrome. Nephrotic Syndrome is one of the leading causes of chronic kidney disease in children. This syndrome usually develops among children between the ages 1 and 3 and up to this date scientific and doctors have not discovered the causes of the syndrome. Nephrotic Syndrome is define by _______________ nephrotic syndrome is that stress the kidney functions by decreasing urine output and water retention. Another function that is affected by this disease is the protein which is leak thru the urine causing the body edema. Nephrotic Syndrome is the primary cause of FSGS which is CKD which leads to ESRD. Few years after her diagnose with Nephrotic Syndrome it converted to FSGS/CKD to ESRD in less than 5 years. Her health started to deteriorate so fast to the point that her life as a child came to a halt. If her mental health needs would be met, she would be more mentally stable her emotions and mood swings would be under control. Now if according to ________________________________ she decides to address her child trauma which I think she has suffer a great deal like her life my change dramatically. 10-15 years ago, mental health and emotional distress were not address as they are being address now. Patients were not informed that wellbeing and mental health are to be address as equal in order to archive overall wellness. Since I now I have some knowledge about mental health wellness, I believe that if my daughter address her detrimental child trauma she could eventually reach some type emotional distress. For I experiment my daughter did not receive the help that she need to help deal with the stages of grieving. She went from fear to the barging process to acceptance without the proper professional guidance. Now she is still battling with the anger stage of the grieving process.
