Well first Arthur was a legendary British leader who, according to past histories against Saxon invaders in the late 5th and 6th centuries. Arthur was also the mythological figure who has the head of the Kingdom of Camelot and the Knights of the Round Table. Also Arthur became king when he drawled a mysterious sword out of a stone. Merlin who is, a legendary figure who is best known as a wizard in Arthurian legend said that whoever pulls a sword out of a stone is next become King. The Knights of the Round Table were characters in the legends about King Arthur. They were the best Knights in the kingdom and they also lived in the King Arthur's castle in Camelot. They were called the Knights of the round table because of a special table that was in Camelot. It was round instead of a rectangular. In order to become a Knights of the round table, a Knight had to prove he was chivalrous enough. Which means polite enough. In the legend, the Knights spare a code of chivalry, which is much like an oath today. This is meant that they're are promised to uphold the rules given to them once they became a Knight of the Round Table. The round table first mentioned by Wace was not only a physical table, but the highest order of chivalry at the Court of King Arthur. Its members were supposedly the cream of the British military who followed a strict code of honor and service. The person who gave the round table of King Arthur was Merlin.
