is called The Labyrinth. It’s a building that’s basically a maze. It’s very hard to get in and out of, Daedalus once got lost himself. Soon after Daedalus realizes he's a prisoner and tries to leave but can’t. King Minos had blocked his way by water and foot. Therefore he gets an idea while watching the birds fly. “King Minos may shut my way out by land and by sea but he does not control the air” he thought. Now Daedalus had an idea and it was to build a pair of wings to fly away from Crete. His son Icarus watched Daedalus build the wings and wanted a pair too,to fly with his father. So Daedalus makes wings for Icarus and himself. While they fly Icarus starts to fly out of control. Daedalus warns Icarus not to be so reckless but Icarus doesn't listen and he flies too high and too close to the sun. The wax on his wings begin to melt, and he starts falling and screaming. Once Daedalus gets low enough above the water, he sees feathers on the water's surface. He soon realizes that Icarus has died, he reacts very emotionally and curses himself for not warning him enough. The next day Icarus’s body washes shore and Daedalus buries him.
