One of the inaccuracies is that they were using the longbow in the movie. The longbow was used in the 1300s by the English military. In the movie, they were using the longbow when they fought. A lot of people were using it. Kingdom of Heaven takes place in the 1200s. So, the longbow could not have been in the movie. Nobody used the longbow yet.
Another inaccuracy was that they showed Balian as an only child. They showed him with no brothers or sisters. Balian really did not have any sisters, but he did have two brothers. Step three was the page, where you would have to assist the Lord. Step four was the squire. This was one of the most important steps. You learn about chivalry, rules of Heraldry, horsemanship, and using weapons. Step five is the last step. There would be a ceremony to become a knight.
