Once analyzed further, this quote reveals a deeper, implicit meaning. When he mentions “what one cooks,” it can be viewed analogous to what one decides and thus, what one acts on. The hopeful moonlight is parallel to the mindset of lighthearted optimism that Yuichi is trying to display and adopt.
