Is it hard to find a place to have a good vacation? Well, you should visit the Kilmainham Gaol! Mrs. Sparr, is going on a vacation and wants to go to Ireland but, she does not know where in Ireland to visit. I demand her to go to the one, the only Kilmainham Gaol (it’s a jail)! In my opinion, I think that Kilmainham Gaol is definitely a great place to go on vacation. In the first place, it’s just the name of it. Kilmainham Gaol! It’s a very unique place in the Irish history. It contains many cells throughout the entire jail. Second, it can be somber and fascinating for the entire family to go and enjoy seeing. Also, after that name the decided to make the name more easy to say for Americans such as the ‘’New Gaol.’’ But, others might call it the ’’County of Dublin Gaol’’! It really does not matter what u call it. It is a famous jail to go see! In the third place, when it was founded-ended and, who where their prisoners. The Kilmainham was founded in 1796. Their very first prisoner was Henry Joy McCracken. He was hung October 1st as part of the rebellion of 1798. Then, they ended up going out of business on 1924 and, is now considered a tour center for the family. Therefore, not only was is for men but, they were allowed to have children of any age that has committed a crime. Also, there were women in there too. For any crime you committed at any age you shall pay for it by spending time in the Kilmainham Gaol jail. In conclusion, Kilmainham is a good place to go to enjoy your vacation.
