These steps consist of Establish a sense of urgency; Form a powerful guiding coalition; Develop a vision and strategy; Communicate the change vision; Empower others to act on the vision; Generate short-term wins; Consolidate gains and produce more change and Anchor new approaches in the culture (Kotter International, 2006). (Weiss, J.W. 2016) In this paper I will discuss the need for change and present a plan to transform the organization, utilizing Kotter’s 8-Step Approach with the current company I work for, DentaQuest.
