Read more on Kwashiorkor in my next paragraph.
Kwashiorkor is a malnutrition disease caused by the deficiency of Proteins. Proteins are the building blocks of our bones, muscles, skin hair blood and literally every other part of our body. There are about/more than 10,000 different kinds of proteins that are in our body that power you (The Harvard School of Public Health). Proteins’ building blocks are amino acids and different amounts and different amino acids make up different kinds of proteins. Haemoglobin is made out of about 146 amino acids (Innovateus). Although there are so many not all of them are needed by the protein to make the protein function but although, small changes in the amino acids can make it inactive. Proteins can even be broken down into other proteins. Lack of Proteins is one kind of malnutrition. If right quality and quantities of proteins are not taken, it can lead to kwashiorkor. The kids would die eventually but even if they survive on the low amount of protein even the children when they grow up cannot work so they are also in extreme poverty. So this is a cycle and if the
