Firstly, Macbeth and Lady Macbeth start to turn against one another very quickly. Lady Macbeth demonstrates this as earlier in the play she seems to be very supportive of Macbeth. She congratulates Macbeth for his achievement as she states,"Great Glamis! worthy Cawdor! / Greater than both, by the all-hail hereafter!" (Shakespeare I.V.58-59). Macbeth and Lady Macbeth see many changes in their personalities. Macbeth changes from an innocent thane and warrior to a ruthless and power hungry king. Lady Macbeth changes from a supporting and loving wife to a backstabbing and insane psychopath.
