Reason for Referral & Thinking Thesis Statement
This patient, Lady Macbeth, bears a grave condition indeed. Her illness seems to have been initially triggered by the news of her husband soon becoming king. Subsequently, she refused to believe that anything could stop him from achieving this. As she disregarded her husband’s well-being, she not only forced him to conceal his emotions, but to commit a myriad unspeakable felonies. Given this information, I am able to conclude that the strong nature and determination of Lady Macbeth suggests that she possesses both androgynous, and even slightly masculine qualities in her personality. But, she seems to be using these qualities for the worst purposes.

It is incredibly common for a person to be androgynous, and there is nothing wrong with having this characteristic. However, a person’s specific androgynous traits may end up getting both themselves and others in trouble, as is the case with Lady Macbeth.
