Landscaping Your Back Yard
Have you just bought an expensive house for your budget and you are left no means of decorating your back-yard with the help of professionals? Are you trying to find ways to cheaply make the best of your surroundings and use every resource you have around the house in order to improve the look and feel of your yard? I will try below to give you some pointers which have helped me landscaping on a budget and determined me to never use a specialized company which can be quite pricy to be honest.
1. Start from the bottom up! Try and find a cheap way to make the best décor out of you ground surface. Go to your local plant store and find out which is the cheapest, best colored, fastest growing grass/plant for your backyard. Here are some suggestions

It is perfect for the yard and it also flowers up in the summer producing great looking small white flowers. If not familiar with it, try and “wiki” this one.
Kochia Scoparia Plant – beautiful hardy, draught tolerant foliage plant. They are really fast at germinating. It starts out as a bright green plant and ends up with the most beautiful red color once the cold season begins. Highly recommendable for decorating limited spots in your yard.

2. Look around your back yard! Any tree branch, any flower pot, any unused spot can be used for either hanging up solar energy bulbs/items or could be painted with fluorescent paint which would glow in the dark turning your yard into a wonderland at night.

3. Sand. It looks great and also provides a place kids can have a blast playing into. It is perfectly fit for areas where you do not have any ideas how to arrange: narrow spots around the house, spots right in the middle of your green area, narrow line along your sidewalk, sand is a very malleable shape-forming tool when it comes to landscaping.
