Las Vegas is a large city in Nevada and is situated in a desert where temperatures sometimes rise well above 104 degrees in summer. There are big resort hotels that line the famous “Strip” with their fountains, sparkling lights, and glamorous sites of cities around the globe that have been recreated.
The strip
The is a 2.5-mile section of the Las Vegas Boulevard, which runs across the city from the northeast to southwest. It is lined up with big entertainment palaces, thatare home to luxury hotel rooms, performance venues and fine dining. During the night time, the Strip is most impressive, as the city is lit up by successions of endless glittering neon signs.
Bellagio Resort
The Resort is considered by many to be
the city’s best resort and an AAA 5 star rated hotel. The hotel complex is massive and has a variety of attractions that include Fine restaurants, Botanical Gardens, an Art Gallery, Salon and Spa. Perhaps the most famous and impressive feature of the Bellagio is the fountain show.
Mirage Hotel
While on the Strip, you can easily identify the Mirage hotel. There is a volcano that erupts regularly in front of the resort. The red fire shoots out and glows at night making it a unique site that is visible even on the sidewalk.
Vegas also has many other interesting places to visit such as the Fremont Street, Venetian Hotel, Eiffel Tower and Paris Hotel, among much more.
