1. In one sentence, and in your own words describe what kind of leader you want to be remembered as?
It's an open secret, that our world is rulling by ideas. This ideas are created and organized by leaders with their followers, that's why there is a great amount types of leader's, for example, to traditional types of leaders we can put in transactional (who motivate their followers) and transformational (who inspire them) leaders. But nowadays we can see the beginning of another leaders' types, such as servant and creative leaders. As for me, I'm very interested in attempts to mix two ways of leadership. I'm really admired with features of servant leadership, especially, in such a great attention in understanding the emotional and spiritual needs of followers, because it is very important to make your employees feel themselves happy on a work, because they certainly will translate this feeling to companies customers, suppliers and their own colleagues. Moreover, I'm interested in creative leadership which is based on creativity management. Creative leadership means producing a favorable atmosphere for stimulating the creativity of personal. For my vision, the easest way to reach such point are to cultivate in followers proud of their work, to enlarge employees acknowledgment of what the company present to customer, to involve them in creative community and different activities (inventing new solutions, discovering unsuspected potentialities, etc).

The appropriate leadership style to use is dependent on the changing climate of the organisation i.e. in a dynamic work environment, charismatic leadership is the preferred style for effective outcomes. Creative and innovative work is demanding, resource intensive and requiring a high level of persuasion. The tasks developed in this kind of work are uncertain, risky and involve unforeseen processes, and as a result, setbacks and disruptions are likely to occur. As innovative work is complex, it demands a leader that is able to be agile and adapt to the ever changing circumstances of a dynamic organisation (Paulsen et al., 2009). Therefore the requirements of leadership today necessitates a leader that is multifaceted, having the ability to switch and more importantly know when to switch between leadership styles to ultimately guide their organisation to long term sustainable success (Barbuto,…

and from your father’s house, to a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you
and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”…

Leadership may be defined as “influencing and directing the performance of group members towards achieving goals of the organization.” (Stimpson and Singh, 2007). Leadership skills are those attributes possessed by persons with leadership roles. Ms Room must exercise these even though she only has one person to lead. Clear communication can be used to inspire her worker. Also, communication maybe used to ensure that workers know the goals of the business and know their part to accomplish them. Critical thinking involves logical and unbiased decision making that is free from personal gain. So here one can see that when Ms. Rooplal follows the four requirements for decision making, successful decisions will be made displaying effective leadership and failure to do so will bring about bad decisions being made which displays poor leadership. Another leadership skill is listening. Communication is not one way. Effective communication involves both sending and receiving messages. Listening is a very important leadership skill as without it, the company will lose up-to-date information about the position of the business with respect to customer’s reviews from the persons providing customer service. Also, it will not work as a motivational factor as the worker will not feel included in the decision making process.…
