Teaching is one of the most noble profession. It is an ongoing process that brings about change in behavior through learning. The quality of teaching is believed to be the ingredient that most likely makes a difference in students learning.(Stigler,J.) Teaching is also about reaching into the minds of students. In my belief effective teachers are not born nor made, they are developed. It was proposed that effective teaching is based on an ethic of care, negotiating and navigating the establishment of social norms for equitable and respectful participation in classroom discourse and climate that values, reciprocity in the respective exchange and challenging ideas. (Steven Khan 2011). Effective teaching is based on an ‘ethic of care,’ which involves not only politeness and compassion for the student, but creating good relationship with your students. The teacher must have a vision or a goal to develop their students and themselves. On the other hand, they must be able to teach so that students will be able to understand, they should be patient, knowledgeable and understanding in there fields.
