." (Billy Graham) I interpret this quotation to mean that if I want those around me to learn to treat the people around them differently, I have to be the change.
If I were to ask someone who knows me to describe who I am, undoubtedly one of the first things that they will say is that I am a happy or smiley person. This is something that I have always loved to hear! For me, being that happy person is my legacy, this means I want show the students at Faith Bible that come after me how to love each other, one smile at a time. I want to be leaving behind the thought that a smile can change everything.
Everyone has had one of those days where she feels like everything is going wrong or that no one notices her pain and trouble, that she is invisible. While walking down the halls, I do my very best to smile at every person I come across, no matter my opinion of him, how much I may or may not like him, or even how my day is going. This is because I know that smiling at someone in the hall can cause a positive chain reaction. If someone is having one of those bad days, and he sees someone smile at him, it will most change how he react to things the rest of the day. He will then go about
his day a little happier, knowing that someone cares. Being happier during the day can cause there to be more positive responses throughout the whole school. Students will have more level heads and tempers when frustrated with each other and teachers, and everyone knows that no one wants to be snapped at, or get into arguments with those around them because it causes
