What is gay marriage? Gay marriage also known as same sex marriage is an ungodly civil union between the same gender. It may also be described as a union caused by strong emotional and physical attraction of the same sex driven by worldly desires. Genesis emphatically declares that God created human beings as male and female for the purpose of populating the earth with children. It is impossible for two people of same sex to produce offspring. A family by definition is a fundamental social group in society typically consisting of one or two parents and their children. Legalizing gay marriage will undermine roles of parents in marriage and ultimately will affect children. First, it will hurt children because children always hunger for their biological parents. Studies show that biological father exercise a unique social and biological influence on their children. Mothers are excelling in providing children with emotional security and in reading the physical and emotional cues of infants. Obviously, they also give their daughters unique counseling as they confront physical, emotional and social challengers associated with puberty.
