The purpose of this letter is to ask you if you can provide a strong letter of recommendation for me. I applied with SAE Institute for a human recourses generalist full time position. Fortunately, I was called for an interview but the director of human resources is asking for a letter of recommendation to be provided by one of my professors.
Immediately, I considered you to be a great reference so I am kindly asking you to write a letter of recommendation for me; considering that I am currently taking your Communication 3150 class online. I am pretty sure you know well enough my dedication and integrity in your class and my commitment to all your assignments as well. Furthermore, I would like to comment that your class is very interesting and I think it is helping me a lot to have a better understanding on people and the importance of communication as well.
As you may know, by reading my very first presentation posted online, I currently work as human resources coordinator. Over the last five years I have gained a comprehensive human resources experience, including recruitment and retention, HR records management, conflict resolution, labor relations and benefits administration. My outstanding developed interpersonal skills, verbal and written, and my certification with the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) is what I consider my advantages over other candidates applying for this position.
