Letter of Dissatisfaction over Poor Maintenance
Nur Ain Hamsani
Resident of Orchid View,
Jalan Mutiara,
-------------------------------------------------
57200 Kuala Lumpur.

District Council of Kuala Lumpur,
47900 Kuala Lumpur.

Dear Sir,

Dissatisfaction over Poor Maintenance

With reference to the above, as a last resort on behalf of the residents of Orchid View, I would like to complain that our neighbourhood has poor maintenance since last few months.

2. Our neighbourhood in which we live in used to be a pleasant place. It is no longer so. This is due to the rubbish being dumped along the roadside just a stone’s throw away from our houses. This rubbish is dumped by the local council few months ago. Despite the stench that comes from the rubbish, it gets worse when there are clogged and smelly drains. This is because on rainy days, the rain hastens the rubbish into nearby drains.

3. Besides, the playground situated at the heart of our neighbourhood is not maintained. The playground used to be occupied with teens and children every evening. However, there is some damage to the swings, see-saws and other facilities cause them to stop going there. Moreover, long and uncut grass also worry the residents as there used to be reports saying they see poisonous animals such as snakes in their house compound.

4. We are also dissatisfied with the road with potholes in our neighbourhood. We believe the potholes are due to heavy transport such as lorries that use our neighbourhood to reach nearby new construction place. Last but not least, we are not comfortable with the stray cats and dogs that are increasing in numbers. Most of the parents are worry to let their children play outside as the dogs may harm them.

5. We are at our wits’ end. I really hope that you can take the necessary action as soon as possible to rectify the problems.

Yours faithfully,

(AIN HAMSANI)
Resident of Orchid

Christina Snyder presents to readers an incredibly articulated diagram of the deep rooted history of slavery and the role Native Americans played in it. Snyder’s discussion is centralized around the economic and culture ties slavery participated to in Native American life before and after European introduction into North America. A vial part in understanding the role of slavery to the natives is being able to distinguish why there was a need for slavery to be implemented and to understand how the slaves would be integrated into the societies of the natives.1 From this discussion Snyder explains how a need for slave labor preexisted the integration of Europeans into the Natives society, but there inclusion ultimately altered the way slavery…

Boarded up windows and overgrown landscaping trigger feelings of discontent with the people forced to live around it day in and day out. Citizens who work hard to keep their own portion of the neighborhood neat and picturesque may harbor resentment for the unkempt properties. As if that was not enough, in communities that have Home Owner Associations it results in additional neighborhood inspections. These inspections often penalize homeowners who have committed less offensive infractions while the major offenders continue to neglect their properties. All of these factors instigate antipathy throughout the neighbors and create a decreased confidence in civic fairness.…

Right now I didn’t touch the PlayStation 3 in trying to fix it, because I don’t believe that it won’t do much good since I never worked with nothing as complex of the PlayStation 3. The only thing I did to the PlayStation 3 is turn it on and that’s about it. I did return to the local store I purchase the PlayStation 3 in but they said it was not refundable, so I had to write this letter to Sony Entertainment Inc so you can fix my problem. I don’t believe that it is the local stores fault I believe it is yours. The store only purchased the systems. They had no need to open them because they trusted you to see if the PlayStation 3 worked.…

Pollution happens absolutely everywhere, every single second of the day, everywhere on earth. It happens in many city, many town, or many state. You can find pollution in cars, home electronics, personal hygiene products, natural disasters, and even your own home. Pollution is poison for anything that lives and breathes; it poisons water, air, land, humans, and animals, so it cannot to be taken lightly. As a law people should take more care of their surroundings and try harder to preserve the world we live in, even if it is inconvenient to us. Because if we don’t save ourselves, who will?…
