From the teleological stand point what is the relationship between liberal arts and whole education. Liberal arts means the study that connects multiple areas of study into one such as literature, philosophy, visual and performance arts whereas whole education refers to having an in depth education on one single area of study. The one single area of study chosen to be focused on could be any scope of liberal arts including literature, philosophy, visual and performing arts. This is where the connection between the two lies. Both of their purpose is to increase independent function and growth of persons. In order to get whole education and liberal arts, there should be positive motivation present which means that there should be enough room provided for the creativity and imagination to be explored. If this requirement is fulfilled, the education will meet the needs of the student enhancing their sense of well-being. Both liberal arts and whole education demand the information provided to be person centered education. Once a conducive environment is set up, liberal arts and whole education work together and complement one another to form a relationship and bring about a synergistic approach in learning. Liberal arts and whole education both work to provide information that helps students move away from pre-determined and old dogma. .
