These dueling roller coasters are in a race to the finish, with identical tracks, and a random outcome every time. During the ride, you experience things such as hills, loops, twists, turns, as well as a corkscrew around the Death Star and R2D2.

When entering the ride, you will have the choice to enter one of two lines. One line will take you to the platform of the light side. On your way to the loading area, you will feel immersed in the Star Wars films, as you are surrounded by iconic scenes and characters from the movies. If you choose the dark side, you will be riding in a TIE Fighter. Regardless of which side you choose, your ride will begin with a steep incline up a hill at a constant speed. Once you reach the top of the 148 foot hill, where lots of potential energy is stored, you begin your descent down the hill at 90 miles per hour, the fastest velocity yet. During this free fall, gravity is the only force acting on you, and you are weightless. You then use the momentum and acceleration from the previous hill to perform two loops. During these loops, you have centripetal force to keep you in your seat. Once out of the loops, the two roller coasters meet in the middle for a battle on Hoth. During this battle, the coasters are twisting around each other. At the conclusion of the battle, both coasters will travel up yet another hill. Upon reaching the top of the hill, the light side coaster will wind around R2D2, and the dark side coaster winds around the Death Star. Both coasters then enter a vicious corkscrew prior to entering light speed tunnel and racing home. Once a winner is determined, the coaster will slow down due to the friction of the breaks.
