When, where and who found Lindow Man?

A hard knock to the head, followed by being choked to then finally die by an extensive loss of blood.
Experts also thought, Lindow Man could be associated with the ‘Claudian Roman invasion of Britain’ and he may have been an important member of a local tribe so he volunteered to die to protect his tribe from the invaders. His death may have been a sacrifice to ensure a good harvest or he could’ve been sacrificed to wish a happy season.
No one really knew what happened to Lindow Man but there is a sense of belief that Lindow Man was not sacrificed, ‘he was clubbed to death’ R C Connolly (senior lecturer in physical anthropology at the University of Liverpool) stated as well as dismisses the thought that Lindow Man was of ritual features. The marks on Lindow Man’s neck were believed to be evidence of a necklace rather than the idea of Lindow Man being choked. Conclusion
In conclusion, Lindow Man’s death still remains controversial but is said to most likely be a murder case. The most logical way to explain all of the marks and injuries of Lindow Man are being bashed, choked and bleeding out. Lindow Man remains one of the best Archaeological finds in history and is now an attraction at the British Museum where he was
