I've been learning English for nearly three years by now. Many years ago, the Chinese Education Authority decided that English should be a required course for The National College Entrance Exam and ever since children in China have to start learning English at the age of 6. Nevertheless, most of us won’t treat this language seriously until high school. The reason for this is that in order to get accepted by any of the colleges, senior high school students must pass TNCEE and that Exam requires fluent English skills.
