The book “Little brother” by Cory Doctrow is the story and realization of the vulnerabilities all of us in modern society have. we’re all connected through our computers, tablets to phones. we store valuable information yet we don’t protect that information, we’re subjected to allowing corporations and governments in on our personal electronic lives, from that this book was written to evaluate.
I can identify with the author on his fear of being constantly surveiled, he writes of extreme but plausible examples of the dangers of metadata and digitized tools we carry around with us all the time. the character Jose Luis is a character that really reflects me, he is caring and wants to help people, he does what he can to solve problems and isn’t

    A Child Called “It” by David Pelzer is his own autobiography of his life as a child being abused by his alcoholic mother, Catherine Roerva Pelzer, who isolates him from the family, then abuses him, and nearly killed him through starvation, poisoning, and once stabbing him. Since Mother starved him for days, he began to steal food in order to survive, and when she finds out he has stolen food, she abuses him with her own “games”.
