Consequently, making Juliet and Friar Lawrence’s plan go astray. Lord Capulet states, “Send for the county. Go tell him of this./ I’ll have this knot knit up tomorrow morning” (IV.II. 21-22). In Lord Capulet's state of euphoria, he orders a nearby person to go tell the county that Juliet has agreed to marry Paris, even though secretly that is not the case. He then asks them to tell the county to have the wedding set in place by the next morning. In addition, Lord Capulet says to the Nurse, “Go, Nurse, go with her. We’ll to church tomorrow” (IV.III. 37). Capulet tells the nurse to leave with Juliet, making it known a second time that the wedding will be the next day.
