Los Angeles Zumba Deals
Have you already fallen in love with the fun, sultry exhilaration of a Zumba workout? Millions of fitness enthusiasts get their groove on in a Zumba class each week, and if you enjoy burning calories and learning new dance moves and rhythms at the same time, but you’re looking for something new, look no further!

Zumba toning gives you the music and fun you crave, but adds elements to sculpt and tone your body like never before. Whether you’re in NYC, Chicago, San Francisco, Seattle, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Houston, or Washington DC, here’s what you need to know before you start a Zumba toning class.

Zumba toning is different from regular Zumba in two primary ways. First, it’s not the same level of cardio intensity because it uses circuit training – a combination of cardio and strength training done in intervals. You get a much higher intensity and calorie burn from circuit training, but you keep all the Zumba excitement!

Zumba toning also uses toning sticks, which are light weights specially designed for the unique dance and strength moves of Zumba toning. They’re filled with sand (rather than being solid core) so they move smoothly and don’t jar your body while you’re dancing. You might not think that adding such a light weight – some are only 1.5 pounds – will make a big difference, but your tired muscles will make you a believer after just one class.

Now don’t worry about getting too muscular or too bulked up. Strength training doesn’t have to be about getting bigger. Zumba toning makes you stronger, leaner, and more toned without adding bulk. Each of your muscles will look more toned, but you’re not going to look like a bodybuilder!

A few things to remember when you’re ready to look for a Zumba class in your area: make sure you find a class that’s taught by a certified fitness professional. Local colleges and many local fitness centers and sports clubs offer just the classes you’re looking for. They offer a wide range of

Research shows you can achieve more progress in a mere 15 minutes of interval training (done three times a week) than jogging on the treadmill for an hour. Not only do you burn more calories during a HIIT workout, but the effect of all that intense exertion kicks your body's repair cycle into hyper drive. That means you burn more fat and calories in the 24 hours after a HIIT workout than you do after a steady paced jog or other form of cardio. It has kind of the same effect as weight lifting, and it burns more calories during and after. Most people aren't used to pushing into the anaerobic zone (where you can’t breathe and chest hurts), but it pays off extremely well in the…
