Loss Of Freedom Without Security

What is freedom without security? Nothing. One of the main reasons why people come to the United States is because it’s known for being the “land of the free.” But how do you think we got this freedom? By fighting for it, by not giving up until we had the freedom that we’ve always wanted. We didn't want to be enslaved or be told what to do with our lives for the rest of our lives, we didn’t want to be prisoners. We wanted to be able to pick what we want to do, where we want to go, and with who we wanted to go with, we wanted to be free. But our freedom and all of our rights could halt in a heartbeat. We often get threats threatening to end our freedom by numerous terrorist. And not just any small time terrorist, terrorist with weapons of mass destruction that find pleasure in harming others.
They put their lives on the line and often give their lives in order to secure our freedom. If they wouldn’t then anybody could come and take our freedom and we wouldn’t have anybody to do anything about it. I know what you’re thinking…what every tough American thinks, we think we're invincible and can carry our own just because we’ve watched all of those Jason Bourne movies.
