Essay #2

Dear Love Guru During everyone’s life time we meet someone fall in love , marry , or have a long term relationship. It’s a continuous process that almost everyone goes through. I have been in a relationship for about almost a year and think I have found the one but can one year really make you want to be with someone for the rest of eternity? Its sounds so wrong but happens all the time. People around me all have relationships that are perfect but I’m wondering is it for me. My girlfriend has always been there for me through adversity so would it be wrong to leave her? It has become to the point where it is more like a best friend type of relationship rather than a boyfriend and girlfriend type of relationship. Why be in a relationship or say there is one when in reality there is nothing but one person fight for something that is not even there. Our relationship wasn’t perfect we have both made mistakes in our relationships but overcame it every time. One thing is though im the type to forgive but never forget .Multiple situations have put my trust levels at an all time. The only thing that is keeping us together is faith but for me the faith is starting to fade. So now the question is what do I do. My girlfriend is one of the most important people in my life. Im just questioning should her role change or should we work everything out and continue on building our relationship. We could end it now and just be friend but I don’t want to break her heart so what should be my best next move in my relationship

Trust is an important thing, but it must also be understood that trust being broken is not always one’s fault. There are occasions where life takes unexpected turns that change everything. Friar Lawrence played a rather large role in the love of Romeo and Juliet. The thing that some call ‘fate’ left Romeo dead because information had not reached him. Friar was left to say, “A greater power than we can contradict Hath thwarted our intents” (Shakespeare Scene V Act 3). So there are times when promises and friendships can be broken because of events that are neither persons fault, so sometimes one must resort to mercy and understanding for broken trust. Romeo and Juliet shows this as well as it could possibly be…

Any relationship requires a lot of work for those involved and it must be continuous for the duration of the relationship. They are called partners because being in a relationship is very much a partnership. If one partner is not doing their share of the work, then a resentment will form. A relationship is really no different than a business relationship, if one is doing all the work while the other sits back and does nothing the business will eventually fail no matter how great the payoff. It…

If we are always honest in our relationship there is less tension. Having a confident attitude in one another has a great deal to do with successful relationships. If we are only worrying about what they could be doing wrong we will never be content. Jealousy is largest part of what we are experiencing when we don’t trust.
