Luffy’s Extravert Personality

This paper will talk about Luffy and his extraverted personality. Monkey D. Luffy is a fictional character and the main character of the One Piece manga and anime created by Eiichiro Oda. One Piece is currently showing in Japan every week. Luffy is introduced as a young boy whose body gains the properties of rubber after he eats a supernatural fruit called the Gum Gum Fruit. After eating the fruit when he was seven, Luffy’s body became like a rubber and it stretches however he wants to. Luffy is the captain of the Straw Hat Pirates and he has a long goal of becoming the Pirate King by finding the legendary treasure left behind by the Pirate King, Gol D. Roger. According to Miserandino, “Extraversion, is contrasted with Introversion and describe how one “surges” or energetically engages with the social world” (2012, p. 36). Luffy has an extraverted personality because he has an extreme thirst for adventure, which is the main reason why he wants to be Pirate King, and he believes that the Pirate King has the most freedom for adventure in the entire ocean. Luffy is a very friendly person, especially if you give him a lot of meat, and making real friends really quick. Luffy does not care about the person’s past and when a person becomes his crewmate or even a friend he protects and defend them even if it kills him. Every time Luffy defeats an antagonist or enemy there’s always a feast provided by the friends he help. During the feast, Luffy always want to have fun with his friends and other people. He will make jokes and tricks during the feast making everyone happy. Luffy is also a very positive person and does not care about what people think of him as long as he reaches his goal of becoming the Pirate King and to have lots of adventure. There’s this one moment when Luffy stand firm in front of the man, who fought with Gol D. Roger and considered the strongest person, and he says confidently and really bold that he is the one

And they are low scorer when they are reserved, sober, retiring, and quite. In the passage, we learn that Subira is more reserved around her friends and her boy friend. In William Golding’s novel Lord of the Flies, a bunch of boys get stranded on an island. They came in contact with many unique elements that symbolize ideas or concepts. Through the use of symbols such as the beast, the pig’s head, and even Piggy’s specs, William Golding demonstrates that humans, when they’re liberated from society’s rules, allow their natural capacity for evil to dominate their existence. It’s very beautiful to see how creative authors, like Golding, can just make an object mean something very important – opposite of its usual meaning, like the conch was a symbol for order.…
