Mad Ken Motors Strengths And Weaknesses
The business that I have chosen is called Mad Keen Motors. I chose this business because I feel that it describes my family’s business and I can relate to how things are done, how decisions are made as a family, and the service they provide. Strengths
I feel that Mad Keen Motors has very experienced and a creative leader since this is a privately owned family business. They provide many different services. Since the company started as a single mechanical repair shop and has now grown to five locations that deal with body and mechanical car repairs, vehicle storage and towing, washing and valeting, and used car sales in the last 35 years. In a family business that has run for 35 years it is safe to say that the leaders of the company have more than likely grown up with the company in their life’s even before they were co owners so they would understand the appropriate leadership structures and cultures, portray the appropriate leadership and management style, and understand how to use resources

As of right now, my mother’s business is to buy, fix and rent houses, and my father is a roofer as well as a subcontractor. I know that running a business and maintaining a household is hard work, so I work along with both my mom and dad. Working with my parents has shown me that success can be achieved without an appropriate education, yet I also get to see how much physical labor and time away from home this takes. Being amidst the workers I realize that I want to do better in life and want to attend college.…

I've always been an entrepreneur. I've run the gamut of business, from direct sales to supplement my family's income, to opening up a karaoke store, Starbuilders. I love to sing and frequently went to the local karaoke bar but was frustrated with the customer service I was getting, so I opened my own store. It was a success! I learned how to order wholesale, offered the customer service I knew I would want to receive, and worked doing something I loved. Unfortunately, after four years, I had to close due to illness. Later I worked in the mortgage industry for thirteen years before stepping aside to take care of my mother.…
