Magnus Chase and The Gods Of Asgard: Sword of Summer. Magnus Chase and The Gods of Asgard, is a spinoff series of the New york best seller Percy Jackson and the Olympians. The Story takes place in boston with a kid named Magnus Chase (cousin of Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena). Magnus is quite frankly homeless, his Mother died in a fire in their apartment building, her final words to Magnus were ‘Run’. Magnus had always lived with his mother, he never knew his father. His mother was almost always outside she could practically call it her second home. Magnus then gets up and he starts running. When night breaks out he passes by his Uncle Randolph’s Mansion. Magnus didn’t have that much of a bond with his uncle, his mom told him to never go to Randolph no matter what. Magnus did just that… Until now, he broke into his house and snooped around and see what was so wrong with Randolph. He snooped around and he took some turkey and crackers out of his fridge and he looked through the museum part of the manor. He saw multiple bodies of armor that had a weird Norse style to them. He then is greeted to his deaf friend Hearth, He signs to Magnus telling him to leave. He spo- signed to soon, after that Randolph himself Greets Magnus, He tells him that he needs to come with him. At first Magnus isn’t to obliged to go with him but he eventually does and Randolph coaxing him into coming by saying he can tell him about his dad. Randolph is now driving to the LongFellow Bridge, he tells Magnus to call for something in the water. Magnus does so then a huge corroded piece of metal come out of the water. Without anytime to breathe a mysterious figure comes out of nowhere on the other end of the LongFellow Bridge. The man’s name is Surt a fire giant. A battle breaks out and Magnus is struggling Blitz and Hearth come to help. Surt launches a lava ball at Magnus, the ball then melts through him like butter, he then
