I observed the preschooler children in Calistoga Christian Fellowship church on Sunday cervices. There are preschooler children in Christian Fellowship. Children were on Sunday bible school from 10:30 to 12:00. My attention was on Alison because this girl was talking English and Spanish. It was very interesting for me when the teacher asked the children what kind of animals they wanted to be and Alison said that she wanted to be the animal trainer, so she pretends to train the dog. She said to the dog “sit down little puppy” and the other child obeys and fallowed what Alison was demanding to do. Another child wanted to be a buyer of animals and he pretend to buy animals from the animal trainer. Children wanted play make believe play because looked interesting for them. They loved to pretend to be an adult and animal.

Did boys and girl differ in their play themes and roles? In what ways? Di you observe groups at play, mixed with both girls and boys? I noticed that the boys wanted to play different games than the girls because the boys wanted to be strong, animals for example, some of boys wanted to be a turtle may be because there are influence about the cartoons turtle Ninja turtle in TV. The children boys and girls were playing together, but boys and girls had their own preferences when they play. There are some exceptions in some children some boys like to play all the children in the class, but some girls did not want to play with boys. I spent time with Alison’s mom and with Alison and it was a good experience spent time with them because the mother has another boys and girl and I learned a lot from
