Makeup Monologue

Have you ever wanted to learn how to do something so badly? If you have how long did it take you to master it? Maybe you tried over and over again and just could not get it right and you get so frustrated. I know the feeling so well. "Ms. Flores can you get off of your phone?"" Hmm?" I said." Can you please get off of your phone?" Mrs. Staley asked. "Yeah sorry I was just watching makeup tutorials."I exclaimed. "That's okay just don't let me see your phone again." Mrs. Staley said. "Okay" I said. When I was ten years old i would watch my sister and all of her friends do their makeup. When i watched them it amazed me a lot. One day i was watching them and they asked me if i wanted them to do my my makeup and i said yes. When my sisters friend Heidi was doing my makeup I would always ask questions like, what is this?, how do you use it?, how do you know what brush to use?, how do you know how much you should put on?, . My sister and her other friends would giggle while Heidi was answering all of my questions.
First I applied my foundation and rubbed it in, comes to find out the foundation was not my tone. Then I applied my eye shadow, mascara, eyeliner and my lipstick. When I was applying my lip stick I sneezed and got it all over my cheek. While I was applying my eyeliner I stabbed myself in the eye "Ouch" I yelled. "What Happened" my mom said. " I just stabbed myself in the freaking eye" I said frustrated. "Are you gonna be okay?" my mom asked. "Yeah I think so." I said. "Okay." My mom said. There was so many conflicts when doing my makeup. When I was done I went into my moms room and said "How do i look?" "I am going to be honest you look like a clown." said my step dad "Thanks." I said sarcastically and went to wipe my face off. Obviously as you can tell from what you read about my experience, your makeup will not be perfect the very first time you do
