A teen activist is someone who is standing up for what they believe should be fixed, a teen activist is someone who speaks out even when others are silent, they stand up despite the danger and are heard. Malala Yousafzai, Craig Kielburger, and Alex Lin all are teen activist fighting for different things, but still making changes.
Malala Yousafzai is standing up for girls education. And according to the article Malala the Powerful “ October 9, 2012, was an ordinary afternoon in Swat Valley, an area of rugged mountains and sweeping green valleys in north Pakistan. Malala Yousafzai, 15, was sitting on a school bus with her classmates waiting to go home when two gunmen appeared.” Malala was shot in the head near her left eye and was swiftly taken to hospital.
