When an individual is working towards mastering a task, the thought of how many hours it could take is most likely the last thought. The article “10,000 Hours” by Malcolm Gladwell explains to us that it can take a person up to 10,000 hours before an individual will master their task or talent..
Malcolm Gladwell stated in the article that “practice isn’t the thing you do, once you are good, it’s the thing you do that makes you good.” When reading the article it makes you wonder, “what does that mean?” Does this quote mean that individual must practice and practice until they have mastered their talent? If so, some individuals do not need a lot of practice to master the talent they have.
