Assessment Strategy
THE ASSESSMENT
The assessment for this module is an End Assessment (EA) constituting a 4,000-word report based on an allocated organisation (further details to be announced within lecture schedule). There will no opportunities for you to select which organisation you receive, this will be done randomly in front of all other students.
In addition, no swaps are allowed with other students. Each organisation has been chosen on the basis that they are a successful and well known, organisation in both the
UK and Internationally and that there is significant information and research which can be carried out in regard to the organisation.
You will be required to answer four of the five questions overleaf, with Question 1 being compulsory for all students.
It is imperative that you draw upon a variety of academic sources, including key marketing journals such as the European Journal of Marketing, the Journal of Strategic
Marketing and the Journal of Marketing Management to answer these questions, remember this is Masters level and you must show evidence that you have carried out additional reading and research over and above the lecture content.
Marks will not be awarded for descriptive accounts of your organisation, thus you must ensure that you are analytical in your approach and that you carry out additional reading and research around the organisation and its marketing strategies.

QUESTIONS
The following question is compulsory – you MUST answer this question for the organisation you selected and the answer to this question should be no more than 1,500 words. (1) Drawing upon a variety of theoretical models and contemporary literature, perform a thorough analysis of your organisations current marketing strategy.

You must answer three of the following questions (2,500 words) based on
