Marijuana Should Be Illegal Persuasive Speech
When we think of illegal drugs we think of cocaine, ecstasy, LSD, PCP, and even Mushrooms. What we don’t really think of is Marijuana. Now sure most of us know that kids smoke it all the time just for fun and doctors are now prescribing it to patients but it never really hits us that it’s illegal. We also know that most drugs really hurt our bodies and minds and that’s why they are illegal. This specific drug is said to be “not as harmful to us” and its “better than cigarettes” but it is causing death and war. So now some people have decided that in order to stop the war, we should make Marijuana legal. Obviously there are many sides to this opinion but I think that Marijuana should remain illegal in the United

    Marijuana was first used for medicinal purposes dating back as early as the 1600’s. However, a law was passed in 1930, which banned the substance. Since then we have been fighting a never-ending war on drugs that has estimated to be over a trillion dollar failure, and we have nothing to show for it.
