Avengers Resort (Themed Resort)
Location: Tagaytay
Target Market: Families, couples, teenagers

SWOT
Strengths:
1. The first themed resort situated in Tagaytay hence it is very new to the market.
2. It is a different kind of resort that offers services enjoyable by the entire family
3. Only 1.5 hour drive from the city
4. The theme is spread over a large area with 4 different theme areas, in which the theme, Marvel: The Avengers is very popular.
5. The park features some very popular characters such as
Thor, Hulk, Capt. America and Ironman.

Weaknesses:
1. The way to Tagaytay is traffic
2. It has a very diverse product portfolio with several different theme parks and hotels, which makes centralized management and monitoring very difficult
3. The park depends excessively on the popularity of the characters it features for marketing purposes

Opportunities:
1. The residents of Tagaytay can work for our resort since they are living in that area. 2. With various promotional offers like annual passes, discounts on hotel stay and multiple visit passes, the park can try to increase its customer base.
3. By introducing new attractions from time to time, the park can attract more and more visitors.
4. With the flourish of the tourism industry, the park can expect to welcome more visitors from abroad.
5. Apart from the usual rides, the annual events and shows have great crowd pulling potential.

Threats:
1. Near competitors like Enchanted Kingdom and Skyranch.
2. Instead of staying in our resort, tourists might choose to go to EK and Skyranch since they are less expensive.
3. Due to the sheer volume and variety of the resort, the operating expenses are tremendous.
4. International competitors like Universal Studios,
Universal’s Island of Adventure, Disneyland Resort has similar offerings and very popular.
5. The park operates in a very competitive environment, where lack of innovation can prove to be a disaster.

Six Flags offers various forms of entertainment ranging from amusement parks, theme parks, water parks, animal parks, and festivals. However, the amusement park is definitely what Six Flags is most notable for with its record-shattering roller coasters that will have consumers’ adrenaline pumping. In each park, other products and services are offered through high-profile corporate partnerships with marquee global brands including Kodak, Kraft Food Inc., Nintendo, Papa John’s, Johnny Rockets, and Cold Stone Creamery.
