1. Five ways vishal could use to assess stewart skills are:
Task specific skills: learning how to carry out a task: example: writing a report, taking stock of inventory.
Process skills: understanding and applying organisational process: example: processing invoices, completing a new leave form.
Interpersonal skills: improving interpersonal relationship: example: communicating between team members, developing strategies to deal with conflict.
Team skills: improving the way the team works: example: setting goals or dealing with changes.
2. It is important for stewart to negotiate about developmental training with vishal to ensure the information that stewart collect are reliable, valid, unbiased and accurate. and it is important for organisations to consider developmental training for organisational goals.
3. By understanding of the organisation’s business plans, goals and objective , we need to be able to identify long- and sort-term goals and the accompanying skills the organisation needs to achieve them. Consider a range of questions for stewart such as:
What is the nature of the organisation?
What is the organisation’s vision for the next five years?
Are any major changes in business operations or procedure planned?
What specific activities have been allocated to your team?
What skills are needed to carry out team activites?
4. We need to prepare a template that required for stewart to completed his individual learning plans, which asks him to identify:
The skill needs.
How the skill corresponds with the individual’s tasks, the goals and the organisation’s objectives.
How the skill will benefit the individual, the team and the organisation
The options available to address the need.
How the individual will demonstrate they have achieved the skill.

    A major obstacle for team members is the lack of basic communication. Without communication team success is highly unlikely. Interaction is important, as it shows how team members work together to accomplish tasks and perform effectively. Communication is especially important to coordinate and cooperate with other team members to achieve collective goals. "Being an effective team player calls for frequent and extensive communication" (Hughes, 2003, p. 22). Once individuals recognize the importance of communication, they become aware of how successful communication can be. "Skillful communicators think like mediators, focused on mutually desirable outcomes as opposed to winning at all costs. Relationships are important to them, and they recognize the need to tailor their comments to the listener in order to be heard" (McCarthy, 2007, p. 6). Members should actively communicate and encourage each member to participate. Every member of the team should also be allowed to state their ideas, give suggestions and express their opinions. This allows every one to engage in open discussion. Valuing each others differences and viewpoints allows every one to feel part of the team. In turn, members believe they are a valuable member and can contribute to the team 's task. "Members contribute to the success of the team by using their unique skills and talents" (Bragg, 1999, ¶ 6).
