Identifying The Disney Effect

Marley and Me So as a child I have had pets, all different types of pets. I’ve had fish, frogs, and my most favorite dogs. My first dogs name was Tank named after myself as that was my nickname growing up playing little league football. And oh yes I was a heck of a football player. He was a chow and pit bull mix, quite big in my eyes. He was a very caring a loving dog. My dad brought me to the pound that summer day and I was sold on him. I taught Tank how to shake my hand and dance as well. Tank unfortunately passed away due to him eating some poisonous plants in the neighbor’s backyard. It took me a long time to get over that as an 8 year old boy who just lost his best friend. But I moved on eventually and named my next three dogs Tank in honor of him.
Now after being in college or full year and moving off campus I thought it was time for me to snag me up another pup. Only thing I could see that was missing from the hole off-campus situation. So on a bright summer day a couple weeks before school was scheduled to start my neighbors, which are also my girl wrestling teammates, decided that it was time to put up or shut up about my dog dilemma, and to be honest they were more excited about me getting a pet then I was for certain. So I mozied on out of bed that morning put on my favorite shirt and headed to the pound with the nagging ones.
When I got there we went into the adult dog room at first to see if I would want one that possibly could be house trained as oppose to me being the pooper scooper around the house for a while. I continued to walk around from cage to cage hoping to find the right one but it didn’t happen. As I proceeded to the dungeon of cuteness full of ay puppy you could imagine I suddenly thought that I would want a puppy because that’s what steals the girls heart. Dazing off into space picturing me walk around campus with the sweetest puppy would win them all over I suddenly
