Random Number Generator Reflection Soldering in my Project Lead the Way class was a very educational experience. When reflecting back to this experience it was mostly filled with positive learning experiences rather than negative learning experiences. When soldering I had positive experiences, some negative experiences and learned some lessons on how important it was to follow the instructions on activity 1.1.9. One positive learning experience that I had was that it pays off to be efficient in your work. I was only given a limited time to work on my random number generator. Having this limited time it was very important for me to be prepared. To be prepared I had read the activity at home and made sure I understood all the steps which helped me to avoid any road blocks while completing the exercise. Another positive learning experience I had was to be precise in my work. By making quality solder joints it helped in making a working circuit. To have a quality soldering joint I had to make sure there was a correct amount of solder. By having the right amount of solder there was a very good connection between the circuit board and the component, it also prevented solder bridges from occurring. When making my Random Number Generator I only had one negative learning experience. . My only negative learning experience was that had a problem with using different kinds of solder. On the first day I started using the thin solder because I thought it would be easier to control and apply to the connection because of its small diameter. Soon I started noticing it was taking a very long time to apply it and the parts had to be really hot for it to start melting. It was taking a very long time to solder a connection compared to when I used the solder with the larger diameter, when soldering on the MAKER FAIR Badge it was a lot quicker. This set me back a little on time on the first day of working on the random
