Max's Survivor: Survivor
Survivor: Many would never guess it but Max is a survivor, though most would not even fathom from what. She keeps what happens at home secret and hidden. Her family’s death is not something she tends to enjoy reliving. And despite the level of pain and the chaos endured she has kept silent about it. Having endured a great deal to get to where she is today, the little sparrow is stronger than she appears to be.

Curious: Max is curious, she has learned to notice the small things in life. And finds she can get rather lost in whatever has caught her attention. She tends to follow and enjoy learning about something new and strange, this has of course led to some very interesting encounters.

Artistic: One of the few things

    Lone Survivor

The most recent movie that I went to see in theaters was 鏑one Survivor I was very excited for this film to come out from the first time I had seen a preview for it because it is based on the past true life events of four Navy Seals on a mission in Afghanistan. I feel that this movie did a great job depicting the true every day struggles and hardships, both physical and emotional, that our military face overseas. Although there are many men and women currently serving, retired veterans, family members of or those who hold close relationships with someone in the military who truly appreciate, respect and understand the struggles and risks one takes joining the military and fighting for our country, there are still many United State citizens who either do not think the life of a U.S. Soldier is a difficult one or simply do not care enough to put any thought towards our military at all. This movie tells the stories of four Navy Seals- Marcus Luttrell, Michael Patrick Murphy, Matthew Axelson and Danny Dietz who in June of 2005 were sent on a mission, 徹peration Red Wings with the purpose of identifying a Taliban leader, Ahmad Shah, who was believed to be hiding on the slopes of mountain Sawtalo Sar in Afghanistan. Once this intelligence operation was surveyed and carried out, identifying Shah and his men, the military would engage the Taliban leader and loyalists and disrupt the Anti-Coalition Militia activity. In a very sad turn of events, the four Navy Seals were quickly discovered high in the mountains by three local goatherds and soon after ambushed by a large amount of Taliban fighters. Many other U.S. Soldiers had lost their lives that day in attempt of saving these four Navy Seals and sadly only one Seal, Marcus Luttrell, lived to tell the story. Years ago there was a book titled 鏑one Survivor: The Eyewitness Account of Operation Red Wings and the Lost Heroes of Seal Team 10written about the series of events and battle fought by these men based on the…

The film is set in the near future of a bleak, dystopian and impoverished Australia that is facing a breakdown of civil order primarily due to widespread oil shortages. (This is not explained in this film but in the sequel, Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior.) Central to the plot is a poorly-funded national police unit called the Main Force Patrol (MFP, derogatorily called "The Bronze" by their enemies), which struggles to protect the Outback's few remaining townspeople from violent motorcycle gangs. The MFP's "top pursuit man" is a young police officer, Max Rockatansky (Mel Gibson), badge number MFP4073.…

    Survivor Birds

Late Cretaceous birds used geothermal heat in order to incubate their eggs just like some birds today. This would help aid in the survival of some birds. The eggs were incubating between 60-100 degrees Celsius, and for approximately 2-3 months, and also laid 8-12 eggs at a time, and they were also incubating within a small hole covered with dirt and sand, which kept them safe and warm. This would help aid in the survival of the birds because the eggs would already be used to extreme heat, and would be able to resist more heat than most of the species alive at that time. Also, they found that the shells were thicker than most of the other shells because due to the geothermal heating, the shells would wear down over time. The hatchlings would take about 1-2 days to dig their way to the surface, which means that they were able to live underground for a short period of time.…

In the summer of 2000, Mark Burnett’s experimental reality show, Survivor aired on CBS and became a sleeper hit. Phrases such as rat “tasting like chicken,” and the dreaded “the tribe has spoken,” entered the American lexicon. Through watching and rewatching seasons of Survivor the evolution of Survivor over the last decade has shown how society has changed its view on race and other biases as well. Black players are no longer viewed as immediately lazy or angry, (Jeremy and Tasha from season thirty one, and Cydney, from season thirty two.) all three of them were respected in the game and the reason they all made to their final episodes of their respective seasons. However, in the realm of Survivor being white gives a visible enough advantage…
