Meaning Of Words Analysis
Because words are paper thin, and sometimes have no meaning, we seem to overlook other people's words. Since you had a bad day, you gave your mom attitude on your way home, or maybe you told your best friend off. Although these words can sometimes have an impact on how someone else treats you, it would only be at that moment in time. As soon as the moment passes, only a memory is left, and it will almost always be forgotten, where as a change purposely done by you can sometimes be the first thought that person thinks when they see you. As much as we went through, anyone would have thought that Sam and I were colleagues, and I cherished every moment spent with her. Even though she was a year older, we immediately clicked and were companions since. When it was time to say goodbye since she would be …show more content…
In as much, I would miss her too, but ever since that day, a great deal has changed. Whenever my back was turned she would always belittle who I was by speaking badly of me to her friends. Although she would would do this every opportunity, it had no effect on what my real friends thought of me, and when she stopped, with time I put everything to the past and tried to move forward. As soon as I shifted over to the high school, she seemed to forget about everything too, and we became friends again. Since we were in band together, we chose each other as bus partners. Being the last one to get on the bus, she would always get the window seat, which I obviously had no problem with, but she always seemed to hit me on her way out almost like she meant it. Everyone got off to go eat lunch, and we walked together. I gave her some space because I felt like I needed space after a long bus ride that had many people, and many bad odors. Knowing how I felt, she got closer to me, almost pushing me. I told her that I really needed my space, so I could cool down from the bus ride. As if trying to trigger me she pushed even

From above Cross tabulation of two aspects of our survey, time spend by students on Social networking sites and time spent by students talking face to face with family and friends shows that maximum number students who surveyed spend time more on social networking sites and chatting with friends rather talking with family face to face. Cross Tabulation shows that maximum people spend time ranging from 10 mins to 6 hours on SNS. People spent time with talking with family face to face is 0 to 10 mins. These relationship shows negative co-relation between time spent with friends on SNS and time spent talking with friends face to face. But we can’t say that the negative relation is only because of the more time spent on SNS. We survey students of Institute of Management, Nirma University who are studying in hostel and staying away from home. So they get less time to talk to family members and only on phone they can talk to family which reduces the time. It is possible that in normal life when they are at home, result may be…

The first article I read was called “Plutocrats Despising the Poor: An American Tradition.” A part of the article talks about how millionaires and billionaires are basically telling the middle class and poor should just suck it up and that the 99 percent should stop “envying” the rich and start “emulating” them. Also that we should be glad we don’t live in China or India where people are making 30,00 and in my opinion even people in America only make that much for example some teachers only make 40,000 a year and that’s with a four year degree. As quoted in the article “And most of all they should stop annoying their "betters" with demands for "handouts" like unemployment insurance, food stamps, and other "entitlements." They also talk about how we're forced to endure over the public airwaves the whining and moaning of billionaires and millionaires who believe working people are not bending at the knee to them enough or doing so without the level of devotion. In January Tom Perkins sent a letter into the wall street journal comparing working people’s concern about inequality to the Nazis singling out the Jews for persecution at the time of Kristallnacht, but later did he take back that statement but he did stay true to the message he was trying to send out although Sam Zell did agree with his statement and had defended Perkins. The second article is called “If Obama is such a socialist, then why are government jobs disappearing?” Throughout the past four years Obama has created roughly 8.5 million dollars yet well the labor market has turned around public employment has decreased. “For all the talk on the right about how President Obama is a closet socialist bent on ballooning the government, jobs at the state, local, and federal levels have steadily dried up since Obama took office.” So this leads to the question what is happening and why hasn’t Obama done anything to fix this issue at hand. The article also talks about how public sector employment has fallen…

Do you know what being acrougus means? Courageous means that you would risk your life for someone but it doesn’t even have to be that courageous. You would be considered courageous even if you did something little like remembering to take something out of the oven before it burns. My three types I woulod consider being coragous are standing up for someone or something, someone risking there life to save someone or something and last but not least when you speake up about something that most people won’t.…

Words are easier to forget, while actions can be forgotten that easy; actions would last forever if they had a great impression on us. I still remember how I met her in our first meeting. On the first day of my high school, I went to school early. When I stepped in my class, I saw someone was sleeping in the corner of my class. I got a little shocked when looking at her. For sure because I do think she might be a ghost or someone who are homeless. But somehow, I told myself to be brave, so I came near to her then I realize, she also a student, same as me. I woke her up and she is awake. She looked at me innocently with her puffy eyes. Suddenly she cried hard in front of me. I was so anxious with that unexpected scene. Did I hurt her when I woke her up? When I asked her, she told me everything. Nothing less but it was about her heartbreaking. I just listen to her and comfort her. Although it was a little awkward since that was the first time I met her, still, I feel comfortable with her. The feeling want to be her friend were strongly linger in myself.…
