From the beginning of time our medical skills have improved and come a very long way. As long as injuries occur, medical attention will always be necessary. In primordial ages injury was left as is until healed on its own or death in some cases, all due to the lack of knowledge. Technology in the medical field has advanced so far, is forever needed, and is constantly teaching us new concepts.
When we began experimenting with plants and herbs it helped us advance in knowledge of medicinal treatments. Torturous practices were used in early ages like full bodily blood drainage because it was believed that the blood inside carried the sickness, later killing the patient (obviously). With knowledge come technical advances to back up what society
