ACL Rupture
Phase 3- flexion and extension to get the joint used to movement again.
Passive stretching will allow the area to get used to movement again and make the area more free to move in different motions.
Phase 4 –
Stage 5 – setting out cones about 10m away and getting the client to jog from 1 cone to the other this will improve and strengthen the joint.
Using ladders doing 1 step in each ladder will help to improve and strengthen up the joint.
Ladders hopping on 1 leg will strengthen the joint and get used to applying pressure again.
Sprinting to one cone and stop immediately will improve on making the joint stronger and will help the leg get used to sprints and a sharp stop.
Jogging in and out of cones in a zig zag will improve agility and allow your joint to get used to side to side movements and turning again.
