As a Bryant Stratton student the course I’m currently enrolled is Associates Medical Billing & Coding. The 3 careers of my interest are Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, and Medical Transcriptionist n which they are all relate to each other as a Medical Profession. The responsibility, salaries, opportunity in that field, and potential growth in that field that will be explained in the following essay. The following Medical Profession has many reasons for the opportunity to have employment once you finish your education. Medical Billing & Coding is the course in which I’m enrolled, in this course we will be learning in regarding Medical Coding to interpret the billing into coding for facilities, office, or hospitals to get paid. …show more content…
The salary for a Medical Assistant may start as $10 -$14 an average $30,201-$35,365. The responsibility of a Medical Assistant as an Administrative part of their duties is scheduling patients, lapidary services, ensuring medical records are up to date and hospital admissions for patients. The clinical part is Vitals, weight, chief of complaints as part of a patient visit. Immunizations, physicals, and cleaning room for visits are complete. Assist the Physician during exam, Interview patients & educate patients. As a medical assistant and knowing two languages you may assist the doctor with translation for the patient. Employment opportunity for a Medical Assistant is in medical Labs, Chiropractors office, Retirement Community, Optometrist office, Podiatrist Office, and Hospitals. We never think of what we want but if we want a good financial we need to find a career that we are interested in to enjoy what you want to do in your life. In this assignment you have to enjoy what you want to do for their rest of your career. How do you do an assignment if you are not interested in your career field? When you start this research for whatever career you have please enjoy your career do some research get those entry job’s to see if you even enjoy that field. As many future teachers I should say many of them was medical assistant and made the classes so interesting that Patient care and Medical profession caught my attention.
