I asked ten of my friends and family what comes to mind when the word “diet” is mentioned. For example, a single day meal plan could include an apple, an egg, and a slice of wheat bread toast for breakfast; broccoli, a serving of lean meat, and grapes for lunch; almonds for a snack; and an orange, vegetable fried rice, and a glass of wine for dinner.
