I just want to say Pelka’s story was amazing to read. It was a scary thing for him to actually say he was rape. In this society, we develop cruel tough stereotypes about everything and anything possible. One stereotype is males always want sex and they cant get rape because they are strong and muscler than females. I do agree with Melody how surprise she was reading (“A Male Survivor Breaks His Silence”), when Pelka’s friends asked him “how he could have let something like that happen to him,” It was feeding that myth or sterotype that male always can fight off a female or always want sex.
