Membership Recruitment
New York District Key Club

Hey Beavers!
As we begin a new school year, recruiting members is a major issue we must tackle. Although it may be hard to do so, the District Membership Recruitment committee has gathered a bunch of ideas that will help you recruit members.
Take advantage of all the resources and ideas provided.
Recruiting Ideas:
1) Point System
Summary: Setting up a point system will allow members to keep track of how many they have, and inspire them to complete more service projects. 2) Rewards
Summary: In addition to the Point System, you can reward members accordingly to how many points they have earned through the service year with a “end of the year party” or even a gift card to the top members, which will motivate and drive them to go the extra mile.
3) Poster
Summary: Posters are an excellent way of getting the word out about key club and attracting new members to join! We have created several posters for you to choose from, every poster has the same goal: that is to inform members about your key club meetings, that way they will be able to attend them. While attending these meeting, and connecting with other key clubbers, your membership recruitment will increase.
4) Events
Summary: Another great way to recruit members is by bringing them to events. By attending events, they will see what Key Club is truly about. This will help ignite the passion inside them for service.
5) Humans of Key Club (HOKC)
Summary: Tell your member to Follow Humans Of Key Club, pictures are worth a thousand words, which can inspire them to do more service.

These new trainees are to work for Monica Carrolls, who is the operations supervisor of ABC Inc. Mr. Robins has run into several issues during the hiring process of these 15 individuals. Ms. Carrolls has also neglected to follow up with Mr. Robins to ensure he was accomplishing the task that had been assigned to him. The largest problem is Mr. Robins is unprepared for orientation; he failed to notice that several trainees’ applications were incomplete, several trainees’ files were missing transcripts, and mandatory drug screenings were not completed on any of the new trainees. In addition to those problems Mr. Robins needs 15 completed orientation manuals, and he has not found a reasonable place to hold orientation for the new trainees. As we analyze this situation, we will observe issues that Mr. Robins has had, training issues within the company, and lack of mentoring by his management.…

Carl Robins made many mistakes during his first recruitment by not preparing properly. This case study analyzes the errors that Carl made during the hiring process. The series of unfortunate events could have been avoided if Carl Robins would have managed his time properly. There are many reasons why Carl failed in his assignment to recruit the new hires: first his supervisor, Monica Carrolls should have provided Carl with cross training-during his first recruitment; second, Carl Robins demonstrated poor leadership skills as his new responsibility as the campus recruiter; and above all, Carl Robins had poor organizational skills because he did not plan the orientation correctly.…

There are two categories of vitamins needed in the human body. The first are water-soluble vitamins, such as B/B-complex and C. The second category is fat-soluble vitamins, such as vitamins A, D, E, and K. Water-soluble vitamins are absorbed in the intestine. Once the intestine absorbs them, the circulatory system carries them to certain tissues. Fat-soluble vitamins are absorbed in the intestines also, but the lymph system carries the vitamins to the various parts of the body. These vitamins are responsible for maintaining the structure of the cell membranes.
