Memorial Student Center
walking into the MSC through the glass doors and proceed to walk through the building making sure the camera gets all the shots as I narrate, a full walkthrough of the building will be sped up as this is being said: “We all have that one place we like to go to, whether it to find a nice quiet study area to get some homework done or to socialize and to get some food, the Memorial Student Center is the place to go. With its diverse lounging areas, dining selections, and resources, University of Wisconsin – Stout’s Memorial Student Center is definitely a place you don’t want to ignore on campus.”
I shall first film a full walkthrough of the building of both the first and the second floor while giving a short background of what they are seeing. I will then talk about the history and renovations of the Memorial Student Center, as this walkthrough is happening, “the bowling alley that we used to have here was repurposed as building materials for the dining area and it was used for the in-stair cubbies.” And how,” The building was closed from January 10, 2011 to January 23,

The Service Center is also available to assist with online ticket sales for various events and shows put on by departments, organizations, and members of the campus. If you ever need anything for a campus related problem, the service center is probably where you want to go for information and guidance.”
I will finish up the video by stating how the Memorial Student Center is a wonderful resource and an amazing place to be, “With what you now know about the Memorial Student Center, I hope you can learn to appreciate this wonderful building as much as I do.” While getting a closing in shot of the Memorial Student Center

Formerly known as the Jospeph Taylor Robinson Memorial Auditorium, this historical building was built downtown during the Great Depression as a Public Works Administration (PWA) project. This was just one of the many projects required during this time to help revive the economy. Construction began on December 27 of 1937 and was completed two years later. Prior to this major installment to our city, Central High School was the largest auditorium for concerts other public events. It was first used as a basketball court for high school games, but was rapidly taken over by orchestral performances, ballet, and other traveling performances. During the 1940's it was used as a community center where ping pong, bridge, checkers, shuffleboard, and domino tournaments were held. (Teske)…

As I arrived at the Newark Museum of Art, I noticed that the outside of the Museum looked like a house, which gave me the feeling of it being a very welcoming place. It really was, especially the touring guide, who was very nice to our group , and who really seemed very passionate about Art. At first, the inside of the museum looked very small, and that was because the waiting room at the beginning was not as big as I thought it would be, and there was not really much to look at around that area. Shortly after, we started our tour up some stairs, and through the halls, and I noticed some construction going on around the beginning of the tour. Even though it was a little distracting because of the noise, the information that the tour guide was narrating was far more interesting, especially the way she was narrating it, with such excitement and passion in her words. The colorful painting all over the halls, and up and down the stairs really made my imagination, and art critique expand for that hour and half tour.…

That building was the most beautiful building in the block and everyone that passed by will have to stop and look at it. The building was located at 2331 2nd Ave which is only half a mile away from Space needle and about 1.6 miles away from Seattle Central Community College. It was built in 1936, it was typically use for film exchange. Furthermore, it was building in Art Deco style, which is hard to find nowadays. Art Deco style was mostly appropriate for the movie industry, and it was often used in its various buildings. The Natives were physically and spiritually united with nature, and did not waste any part of any animal they killed, or any plant they pulled from the earth. They lived according to "nature's time", and believed that man's greed and desire for supremacy could eventually lead to his downfall. They had a rich spiritual heritage, documented through their magnificent pictographs and petroglyphs, songs, dances, and legends. The Chumash lived life in balance with nature, and they were ready for any situation they would encounter in their daily existence and their tasks. As a…

I experienced this wonderful space for the first time, as my fiancé [Calvin] and I chaperoned my eight year old sister [Amya] and my seven year old cousin [Ta’mari] on a Sunday afternoon. We went this first Sunday for Free First Sundays. It didn't take very long to get tickets and start viewing everything the museum had to offer. We rode the BART from El Cerrito Del Norte (Richmond/Fremont line), got off at Lake Merritt station, and walked one block up the street on Oakland to 10th street which is near Laney College. The museum envisioned as a porous building with multiple casual entrances and exits instead of a grand front portal. Museum and park flowed together as a continuous public space, spanning the equivalent of five city blocks. Easy driving directions (if I had a car), easy parking, very convenient for public transportation and just a gorgeous facility and staff that greatly greet you at either entrance and direct you to either level. The eating area was one of the most creative that I have seen thus far –café chairs hanging from a black board. The restaurant was very welcoming and had a variety of things to choose from (although the food was a bit pricey for my taste).…

High School offers many classes that do their part to keep students busy. Whether it is homework, a project, or a presentation, it all takes a good amount of time out of a student’s schedule to complete such tasks, but what makes it even more difficult is when courses such as honors class or AP classes are taking place, which are beyond the regular class. These classes have a higher expectation towards students due to the speed of learning that takes place. Honors classes run their class a little bit faster, then regular classes. When it comes to AP classes, teacher drill their student with knowledge in a short amount of time. Both classes distribute more homework then average. That is why study halls should be kept at High School.…

Establishing shots, exterior,day- it was Friday and it was a rainy day. We arrived at the Cultural Center of the Philippines(CCP) at 4 in the afternoon. I was very excited to attend the 9th Cinemalaya festival. We rode the orange jeep to the CCP complex and went down at Harbor Square. I loved that crossroad because it led to a wonderful experience and a beginning of a new addiction. We took lots of pictures outside the building to get a nice shot with the “CINEMALAYA” as our background. Just as we were about to pose for a shot, the fountain was turned on—it was pretty cool. I have never been inside the CCP before and I didn’t know what to expect of the interior but I imagined it to be bigger than it really was. My imagination was always a little exaggerated. As we entered the building, I scanned around the place: classy. We went up and checked out the work of arts all over the walls. We went in all the galleries and took lots of pictures for remembrance. It almost felt like we were there to have a photo shoot. Four floors and 50 pictures later, the program finally started.…
