So, it might not be a wise decision to invest time and money for small percentage of customer. Current strategy to connect with the customers might not be best, but it is working well for the company. Many people are reluctant to change. The employees might not follow the change and if the changes are made mandatory, they might lose interest in working. The efficiency of the employees can decrease. There is also a possibility for the company to lose good employees.
Although, the company is successful and operating smoothly, there is a possibility to increase the profit margin. MetroPCS spends a lot of money in marketing and advertisement to attract new customers. But, if the company separates fraction of those expenses to retain the current

MetroPCS does provide many deals for the new customers. These promotions are mostly for the short period of time. The company provides brand new phones for very low price compared to market price. MetroPCS also provides free phones for the switchers form different carrier. These deals are mostly focused for new customers. The existing customers cannot take the advantage of these promotions. This can make the existing customers feel neglected. As a result, existing customers can port out to different carrier for short period of time and port back to MetroPCS again to take the advantage of the promotions. This trend can hurt the company in long-term. So, the company can come up with free upgrades after certain period of time for the existing customers. The company can set the requirements. It can be, the customer can have a free upgrade only after a year of service with MetroPCS and the phone currently used should be in a good condition. This can help the company to keep a stable and long-term relationship with the customers, but it cannot neglect alternative two and three. MetroPCS introduces new promotions for short period of time focusing to attract new customer. This strategy has been successful, and the company should continue to provide offers so that it will not tamper with the satisfaction level of the customers in the beginning of the business. MetroPCS has also been trying to provide good customer service. It has been mostly positive especially in the beginning when the customers are starting the business.
